A country I would like to visit: Scotland

Hi everyone! In this post I would like to write about Scotland, a country I would like to visit.
I believe Scotland is a wonderful country that mixes an old rich culture and beautiful landscapes. Also, Scotland is wrapped in a mystical aura that fascinates me.

I would like to visit Scotland on holidays, and get to know Edinburgh’s Old and New Town. Also, there are a lot of beautiful places to visit, like castles and the famous Highlands. I would like to taste different kinds of whisky too.
One thing I really would to do in Scotland is enjoy the Edinburgh’s Summer Festivals. There are a lot of shows to see in those instances, like music, theatre, comedy, opera, dance, circus, cabaret, musicals and more.
In future, I would like to study in Scotland. There are a lot of prestigious universities, with remarkable postgraduate degrees.
The only thing I think I don’t want to do in Scotland is taste traditional food, like haggis or other strange plates.

Postgraduate studies

One of my life goals is to live  out of Chile in future, in some country where quality of life is considerately better. It's even better if this country have a real welfare society. And, if is possible, I would like to study a PhD degree in this country. In particular, I really am attracted to University of Toronto’s Pharmaceutical Sciences PhD program, in Biomolecular Pharmaceutical Sciences. This PhD program has many aspects that interest me. For example, you can specialize in biopharmaceuticals study, an up to date subject in the rest of the world, but not much developed in Chile. If I get this PhD degree, I would research about new biopharmaceuticals development, and this field of activity likes me so much. Other very interesting fields of study are: “Basic pharmacokinetics and clinical research”,” Polymeric and nanomaterial-based drug delivery systems” and “Drug receptor interactions”. Even though this PhD program has different ways of entering, I interest by “P...

Two special songs

Music is essential in my life. It is, maybe, the most loyal company in all moment. Music means an advice, a consolation, an instant of joy, according to context. As far back as I can remember I felt attracted for rock music. In part, that is because of my dad, who tuned in to Radio Futuro (88.9 FM in Chile) all my life long. For that reason I know a lot of rock songs, mainly from 80's and 90's. My favourite band is Faith No More. I remember I have been fascinated since the first time I listened "Ashes to ashes" on the radio, in 1997. Since that moment I waited patiently the opportunity to record this song in a tape. This particular song means a feeling of freedom for me (further the lyrics, the melodies of this song makes me feel like any negative thing in my life be forgotten when sounds the last note). "3 idiots", my favourite movie.

Hi again! Usually I'm very selective for choose the movies I see. When a movie appeals me, I worry about investigate its argument and cast. But, there is not what happened when I saw my favourite picture: it was only coincidence. "3 idiots" is an 2009 Indian movie, classified as a coming-of-age comedy-drama. This movie mixes comedy, drama and romance, in a musical. It tells the story of three boys who be accepted in the most prestigious engineering school of Delhi, the Imperial College of Engineering. The protagonist is Rancho (perform by Aamir Khan), a very special boy. His origin is unknown, and his behaviour is hilarious. His adventures with Farhan (R. Madhavan) and Raju (Sharman Joshi ) facing the rigorousness of been studying in one of the best engineer school of the world, is a fluctuation of feelings, carrying to the spectators from the most senseless comedy to the deeper sadness , always singing. This film have a little bit of fable, with a lot of morals...
